Who is responsible

Inquiries and review requests

We use the information you submit to understand and respond to your engineering or partnership request, arrange the conversation you ask for, and discuss a possible engagement. This can include your name, company, email, optional telephone number, project context and the information you choose to supply.

Calculator and PDF requests

The interactive calculation runs in your browser. Downloading a PDF sends the numerical inputs to our server to generate the document. If you request an emailed report, we process your name, email and calculation inputs to email the PDF to you and send a copy of the request to Esmatronics. If you ask to discuss the setup, we use the same information to respond. Requesting a report does not subscribe you to promotional emails.

Purpose and legal basis

We process business inquiries on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to requests and evaluating engineering or partnership opportunities. Where applicable, processing is also necessary to take steps requested before a contract or to perform an agreed engagement. We ask you to acknowledge this notice so that the intended use is clear.

Retention

Inquiries and related correspondence that do not develop into an engagement are normally deleted within 12 months of the last meaningful contact, unless a legitimate reason or legal obligation requires longer retention. Records relating to an engagement may be retained for contractual, accounting, legal or engineering-documentation purposes.

Hosting, email and security

Hosting and email providers process information needed to operate the website and deliver messages. Standard server logs may record requests, including PDF-download parameters, for operation and security. The forms also use short-lived, pseudonymous rate-limit records to reduce abuse; those records do not contain inquiry text. They are removed during normal housekeeping after their expiry.

Relevant project information may be shared with a selected delivery or technology partner when necessary for an agreed purpose and subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection arrangements. We do not sell submitted information.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not set analytics or advertising cookies, load third-party fonts, or include marketing trackers. Links to other websites open services with their own privacy arrangements.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email ceo@esmatronics.dk to exercise these rights. You may also complain to Datatilsynet, the Danish Data Protection Agency.
