Real work is most credible when the problem, method and status are clear.
Completed engagements and active R&D collaborations are presented with clear scope, method and project status, so the engineering work can be judged on what was actually done.
Industrial valve motion analysis
A fast mechanical process had to be observed clearly enough to support an engineering decision under real test conditions.
Problem
The relevant valve behaviour was difficult to evaluate by ordinary observation.
What needed to be known
The engineering team needed recorded evidence of the motion under the real test setup before evaluating the mechanism further.
What Esmatronics did
Defined the event and field of view, configured high-speed imaging, optics and lighting, and captured the motion under the partner's own test conditions.
What changed
The behaviour could be reviewed frame by frame, replacing assumption with recorded evidence and giving the engineering team a clearer basis for evaluation.
Smart medication cabinet
An active prototype project exploring how secure access, medicine handling, sensing, embedded electronics, mechanics, software and traceability can work together as one system.
Why the project exists
The concept brings together mechanical access, identification, sensing, electronics and software. The engineering challenge is to make those subsystems work as one coherent, testable architecture.
Current engineering focus
- System architecture and subsystem interfaces
- Secure access and identification
- Sensing and embedded electronics
- Mechanical integration
- Software, traceability and testability
Esmatronics contribution
System framing, architecture, engineering integration and coordination around the prototype development.
Current status
Development is ongoing with SDU. Final performance results and validated project outcomes are not yet being published.
What gets published, and what does not.
Numbers carry weight only when they can be defended. Saving, yield or performance figures do not appear on this site unless they are supported and approved for publication. Confidential detail stays out.
The common starting point is uncertainty that has to be reduced.
Show us the behaviour, test setup or system challenge. We can help define what has to be observed, measured or built next.
